Desert Eagle
The Desert Eagle semi-automatic pistol is an iconic Counter-Strike weapon, and the latest iteration only slightly tweaked its performance. A real beast of a sidearm, the Desert Eagle holds seven rounds of the 0.50 Action Express ammunition, dealing a whopping 53 damage per shot!
In the past, this pistol was the only one of its kind able to pull off one-shot kills, no matter how heavily armored the target was. The release of CS: GO and CS 2 evened up that playing field, allowing for other pistols to take down a target with a headshot, even if they were wearing helmets at the time.
Still, the Desert Eagle is an excellent choice due to the 93.2% armor penetration and high accuracy while stationary. On the flip side, firing this pistol will give your position away, and its weight will also slow you down when running.
AK-47
The Terrorist team has exclusive access to the popular “Kalashnikov” rifle, aka the AK-47. Sporting a low price of $2,700, this is one of the most well-rounded weapons in the game. It deals 36 damage, fires 600 rounds per minute, has a 30-bullet magazine, a reload time of only 2.4 seconds – and provides 77.5% armor penetration to boot!
Those stats do not disappoint in action either, with the weapon’s range being the only notable downside. Many prefer it for its tighter spray and lower recoil than most other rifles in the game.
